Title: EMC Simulation Engineer

Job Description:
The successful candidate is expected to take a technical leadership role in helping to define the system architecture of Gentex products with emphasis on meeting customer and regulatory EMC (Electro-Magnetic Compatibility) requirements. The candidate will collaborate with multiple disciplines at Gentex and will use both software and hardware tools for analysis and decision making with focus on two and three dimensional solvers for determining system design direction. In this role, training will also be provided to the Gentex team on EMC lessons learned, research, and practical theory applications.
Requirements:
A BSEE required with MSEE preferred. A minimum of 10 years EMC design experience strongly preferred with automotive EMC design a plus. An advanced degree might be considered in lieu of experience. The candidate must show a track record of solving challenging EMC issues in a timely manner. Preference will be given to those who have worked with simulation tools developed by Computer Simulation Technologies (CST). The candidates must have expertise in using test equipment such as Time Domain Reflectometers (TDR), Network Analyzers, and Spectrum Analyzers.
