Q - Do the 4 hour and 8 hour fees listed apply to me?
A - If you are taking an FCC Exam, NO.
If you are taking a iNARTE Certification exam, YES.
The fees are separate from, and in addition to the iNARTE application fee.
These fees are set by each testing center, and there are usually two rates listed
- The "4-Hour Test Fee" applies to all 4 hour exams:
Telecomunications Master Technician exam
Telecommunications Senior Technician exam
Telecommunications Junior Technician exam
Telecommunications Master Engineer exam
Telecommunications Senior Engineer exam
- The "8-Hour Test Fee" applies to the 8 hour exams:
Telecommunications Junior Engineer exam
EMC Engineer exam
EMC Technician exam
Product Engineer exam
Product Safety Technician exam
ESD Engineer exam
ESD Technician exam
These fees are payable directly to the testing center at the time of your examination. When iNARTE schedules your exam, we will notify you
by letter of the fees you must pay and to whom they will be payable.
Q - What if there are no testing centers near me?
A - With your assistance, iNARTE may arrange for your examination to be given at your place of employment. An individual from another department in your company may be designated as the exam proctor.
Simply provide iNARTE with the exam proctor's name, address, phone number and email address. We will contact the individual directly to arrange your examination appointment. Contact iNARTE with any questions at 252-672-0200 or email at lawrence@inarte.us
Q - Do I contact the Test Center to schedule an exam?
A - No. iNARTE will coordinate your examination for you. Once your registration is received at iNARTE HQ, we will make the
exam arrangements for you, and notify you by mail.
